Franco Benech

Prof. Franco Benech graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin, where he also completed his specialization in Neurosurgery with top marks. Throughout his career, Prof. Franco Benech has performed over 8,000 surgical procedures and has gained extensive experience, particularly in brain and spinal neoplastic pathologies (meningiomas and schwannomas) and in traumatic and degenerative spinal disorders (disc herniations, discopathies, instability). 

He has held numerous positions at the most prestigious Italian universities. Among these, he has been the Chair of Neurosurgery at the Department of Oncology at the School of Medicine, University of Turin, and has taught Neurosurgery at the Specialization Schools of Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Turin. 

He is the author/co-author of over 150 publications in international journals concerning spinal neurosurgery, neoplastic, vascular, functional pathology, and neurotraumatology. Since 2016, he has been practicing clinical and surgical activities at the facilities affiliated with the Policlinico di Monza and Humanitas in Turin. He is the official consultant for Juventus FC.
